Episode 46! I shall try and keep my post about this relatively spoiler free, but suffice to say I won't be making any episodes for a while. Which means I have time to work on fun stuff! With my friends! And I can enjoy it! Yaaay! Had a wonderful time at MAGFest. Yeah, there were some issues, but it's a con. It happens. You people are amazing. Kirbopher, Masako, the guys from TGWTG, Jon St. John, WhiteAsh, Alpha, Kroze, Dom, Matt Mercer... too many people to list! You're all so awesome. I would love to hang out with you guys over and over.

Yeah, so it's Tuesday. But yesterday, with the holidays over and the kids back in school, I had a little time to write and was able to finish the next chapter pair for His & Hers, and sent them off to the beta-testers this morning. Yay for accomplishing something! I'm hoping to get back to the IP sequel soon-ish. We'll see if that actually happens. (I'm still sort of stuck on the battle scene. Not really a block, because I know where it's going now, but the writing is much slower for that one, so I can't squeeze it into small bits of free time like I can the fluff fic.) That's about it. I'm still over-scheduled between work and the kids, so I can't do nearly as much writing as I'd like. But at least it hasn't completely dried up.

Well. I got an answer about that scholarship thing. -sigh- I'm more upset by the rejection than anything. And now I'm back where I was, having to make choices I'm not really prepared for. Damn the real world! I... don't think I'm actually dealing with this, yet. I suspect I will be emo bug tomorrow night. Right now I'm just vaguely annoyed, indulging in some mild self-loathing, and feeling oddly vindictive. I suspect I may take it out on my manager, which could yet make things worse... Stay tuned for further wangsting! Or mild commentary. Either way...

so, i have thought long and hard about it. i was going to stop posting here. i was trying to think about where i could move it to, or if i should even continue at all to try and communicate directly like this with y'all. it isn't that i don't enjoy it or that i think something like this is so great that it should be considered a reward... it's not... but it's just that this place, our bloggy community, had become something that i hoped it wouldn't. not sure if you will agree or disagree but i feel like "paramoremusic" is on the up and up. not really sure where we are at with "paramoreband" but i guess we shall see in time. i'm going to keep posting here. i'm not going to reply to negative comments, so as not to encourage any more stupid people to come in and get some sort of rise out of me... and if i do my part then i hope you all will do your part to encourage more positivity around this place. the thing that i hope everyone takes away from this direct line we have to you guys is the fact that just because we may have a song on the radio, or sold "this many" records and done "this many" things... we are just the same as we've always been. sure, we've changed. BUT. we are the same 5 people who started the band in 2004. we don't believe any hype that may be written about us... and we all realize that in one single day it could all be gone. what matters is this. the connection. that's what outlives any good write up... it outweighs the number of records sold... it means the most. and that's why i can't let any negative hype that is created right here push me away from keeping this thing going. so again, do your part and i'll do mine. the guys (if they decide to come in and post haha) will do theirs. CAN WE BE FRIENDS!? Hayley

So, I went to see the Princess and the Frog. THis is probably grounds for mass murder, especially on my flist, but... I didn't... love it.... I mean, I LIKED it. It was good fun. But I don't think I'll watch it again... ( It was just... shallow, you know? ) In other news, I have a new laptop that doesn't shock me all the time! Hooray! But the keys are stiff. I have to really punch them to always get every letter out, which kinda sucks. I'm hoping it'll sort itself out with time. Anyone know if that's true, or am I having wishful thoughts and should take it back for fixing? Also, I'm giving uni this week. THIS WEEK. If I don't have a letter by Friday I'm ringing up the school in tears until I get an answer. Which is quite likely (the tears) because I'm doing two stores again and will be stressed. GOOD TIMES.

I think uni is trying to make me cry through suspense. I resent that, somewhat. I SHALL STALK THE OFFICE NEXT WEEK MWUAHAHA. I have to tattle on my manager at some point. For multiple reasons. I am less than thrilled with this for multiple reasons. "More of a page turner than Twilight." ... I am both highly, highly amused and a little bit flattered and a little bit confused and highly, highly amused. Aaaaand I don't really want to go out tonight. I want to stay home and celebrate the turning of the new decade by... well, indulging in the hermitage that made up so much of the decade. But I probably will because otherwise I will get Looks all weekend. ........ I want to write Sonic Underground fanfic. You have no idea how disturbing this incredibly intense urge is. IT IS THE WORST SHOW EVER AND I WANT TO WRITE FANFIC OF THE EPIC AND/OR THOUGHTFUL VARIETY WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH ME. Sherlock Holmes was so much fun! I heart Robert Downey Junior films for their funness. Eeehee!

Lately, the Boy and I have been enjoying ordering the Danny Phantom Christmas episode, The Fright Before Christmas, from On Demand on digital cable and making a game of reciting as much of the poem/dialogue as we could along with the episode. (For those of you who don't know, most of the episode is told in verse, with the same rhyme scheme and meter as "The Night Before Christmas.") So. My side of the family does Christmas at New Years every year, and since my nephew is a big DP geek, I thought it would be fun if we did a "poem along" with all the kids, watching and reciting together. With this in mind, I spent much of this morning typing up the words to pass out to everyone so that we could do it right. (Thankfully, there's a copy of the original script online at dannyphantom.com... is it bad that I know exactly which verses are in the final version and which aren't???)
